The ubiquitous computing project team will post evaluation tools here as they become available.

An evaluation framework is now available!

The framework is based on existing frameworks and on findings from a policy study conducted for this project designed to clarify policymakers' information needs and their expectations about ubiquitous computing.

One use of the framework is to help researchers and evaluators think about the most important topics for further study. A paper proposing a possible research agenda is available and is designed to stimulate discussion among funders, policymakers, evaluators, researchers, and practitioners.

A number of surveys for students and teachers were developed for a study of Henrico County, Virginia's laptop program.
